Vernazza Autogru adds new Tadano cranes to boost lifting power

Italian lifting specialist Vernazza Autogru is expanding its fleet with a brand-new Tadano AC 7.450-1 all-terrain crane – the same one recently showcased at bauma 2025 in Munich.

Alongside the AC 7.450-1, the Genoa-based company has also ordered three more Tadano cranes:
• AC 6.300-1
• AC 4.080-1
• AC 4.070-2

This move strengthens Vernazza’s ability to handle a wide variety of lifting jobs across construction and industrial sectors.

Why Vernazza chose the AC 7.450-1

The AC 7.450-1 stands out for its combination of compact size and powerful performance. It’s built on a seven-axle platform but delivers the lifting capacity you’d expect from an eight-axle crane. It also boasts the longest boom in its class at 80 metres and comes equipped with advanced features like:
• Sideways Superlift system for extra lifting power
• Surround View system with six integrated cameras for better visibility on-site

CEO Diego Vernazza highlighted the crane’s versatility and power, calling it “a new benchmark on seven axles.” He added that having their own branded crane on display at bauma was a proud moment for the team.

The additional Tadano units will help Vernazza tackle a broader range of jobs:
• The AC 6.300-1 is compact and includes a luffing jib, making it ideal for tight urban or industrial spaces.
• The AC 4.080-1 can lift heavy loads at steep angles and stay within standard road weight limits, which is useful for quick transport and deployment.

Tadano’s Italy business leader Davide Camperi praised the long-standing relationship between the two companies, saying Vernazza’s continued investment reflects strong trust in Tadano’s technology and service.

By adding these cranes, Vernazza Autogru is making a clear statement: it’s committed to keeping up with growing client demands across Italy and beyond.
