Specialist deep foundation company Terras Spezialtiefbau GmbH has expanded its operational capabilities with the acquisition of three new machines from Liebherr. The handover occurred at the bauma trade fair, in Munich, Germany.
The new equipment includes two LB 30 drilling rigs and one LRB 23 combined piling and drilling rig. These machines will enhance Terras Spezialtiefbau’s efficiency and precision in deep foundation construction. The rigs will be used across various sites in Germany by Terras Spezialtiefbau’s subsidiaries, Demler Spezialtiefbau GmbH and D & K Spezialtiefbau GmbH & Co KG.
D & K will deploy the LRB 23 and one LB 30 rig for double rotary and Kelly drilling in Southern Germany, while Demler plans to use the second LB 30 for piling projects across the country.
Ansgar Langemeyer, Managing Director of Terras Spezialtiefbau GmbH, expressed gratitude to Liebherr for their reliable and high-performance machinery. He highlighted relationship, stating that Demler and D & K first chose Liebherr machines in 2018 and 2019.

Demler and D & K opted for the first Liebherr machines back in 2018 and 2019 respectively. “With Liebherr, we have a strong partner at our side,” says Ansgar Langemeyer.
