Skyjack will showcase a range of new access equipment at the HIRE26 convention in Sydney later this month.
The company, part of Linamar Corporation, will exhibit its latest rough terrain scissor lifts and articulating booms at the Sydney Showground in Sydney Olympic Park on May 20 and 21, 2026.
Jason Cranmer, Regional Sales and Operations Director at Skyjack, said the new machines are built to meet the demands of modern worksites.
“Skyjack’s access machines, like our new rough terrain scissors and articulating booms, are designed to meet true jobsite performance expectations in a wide range of indoor and outdoor construction, maintenance, and industrial applications,” said Jason Cranmer. “Our team looks forward to engaging with customers at HIRE26 and showing exactly how Skyjack’s quality engineered units can benefit rental companies and operators.”
Among the new machines on display will be the SJ6940 RT rough terrain scissor lift. It offers a platform height of 12.19 metres and a capacity of 363 kilograms, making it the tallest model in Skyjack’s compact rough terrain scissor range. The unit also features a long working platform, an oscillating front steer axle for uneven ground, and auto-levelling outriggers to improve usability on site.
Skyjack will also present its new SJ45 AJHE+ and SJ60 AJHE+ articulating booms. These machines are available in hybrid-electric and battery-electric versions and are designed for both rough terrain and emission-sensitive environments. The range shares common specifications across electric, hybrid and diesel models, giving rental companies flexibility in choosing power options without changing machine layout or performance.
In addition, visitors will be able to see Skyjack’s all-electric vertical masts and E-Drive slab scissor lifts at the stand.
The company will also introduce new safety and productivity accessories under its ACCESSORYZERS range.
One of these is LanyardGO, a system designed for boom lifts that detects whether an operator’s harness lanyard is correctly attached. The system uses sensors, LED indicators and an audible alarm, and prevents machine operation until the lanyard is secured.
Skyjack will also highlight SKYPROTECT and SKYPROTECT+. These systems use ultrasonic sensors to detect overhead hazards and warn operators when entering a risk zone. SKYPROTECT+ adds further functionality by integrating a secondary control switch for lifting and reverse driving.
Skyjack will exhibit at Booth 66 during the HIRE26 convention.
