Skyjack, a division of Linamar Corporation, has delivered its first SJ60 AJHE+ hybrid electric boom lift in Germany. The two machines were handed over to their longtime customer, WOCKEN Industriepartner GmbH & Co. KG, at WOCKEN’s headquarters in Meppen on May 7.
The SJ60 AJHE+ is a hybrid electric rough terrain articulated boom designed with three operational modes: electric, automatic, and manual. Andreas Stumpf, VP of Sales & Operations EMEA at Skyjack, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch. “We are thrilled to debut the SJ60 AJHE+ in Germany and couldn’t be happier that our valued longtime customer WOCKEN is the first to carry this new boom,” said Stumpf. “Our new hybrid line has been developed to provide a clean, quiet, and sustainable rental solution featuring low emissions, lower operating costs, and increased utilisation to meet the needs of our customers.”
This new model is part of Skyjack’s hybrid line, which also includes the SJ45 AJHE+. It features the company’s unique EASYDRIVE™ system and high-performance AC electric traction. The boom’s pump and generator motors deliver high torque and consistent multi-function capabilities. This launch follows the introduction of Skyjack’s all-electric boom in June 2024.
WOCKEN has a history of being the first in Germany to receive new Skyjack models. They were also the first to acquire the SJ9664 RT in 2021.
