Sarens has won the 2026 SC&RA Rigging Job of the Year award in the $300K – $1M category for its work on the Emile Hammerel Bridge in Luxembourg.
The award recognises the company’s engineering, innovation and teamwork on a complex bridge installation. The project was presented by Steven Sarens.
The Emile Hammerel Bridge project required advanced lifting and transport solutions in a tight railway environment. The work demanded careful coordination, strong engineering methods and strict safety controls.
Sarens used its heavy lifting expertise and a tailored engineering approach to complete the job. The company said the project strengthens its position in complex bridge replacement work around the world.
The project had already received industry attention. During the works, Sarens introduced its CS250 tilting system, which allowed heavy bridge sections to be installed safely and precisely over live railway infrastructure.
The company said the award highlights its focus on engineering excellence and its ability to deliver safe and efficient solutions in challenging conditions.
