Global heavy-lift specialists Sarens have reached an agreement with Zanetti Solutions to acquire a minority stake in the Italian company.
Along with Sarens, Effe Holding SRL – a holding company based in Roma owned by Italian entrepreneur Carlo Fagioli – have also acquired shares in the 50-year-old Italian company, with Zanetti still possessing the majority stake in the organisation.
“At Zanetti, we are proud to incorporate in our ranks Sarens and Effe Holding,” said majority owner of Zanetti Solutions, Laurano Zanetti. “We are confident that the combination of our forces and know-how will bring us to new heights.”

Specialising in customised and innovative solutions, the Belgian based global powerhouse enacted the acquisition to enhance business activities of all parties involved – both in Italy and across the world.
“Zanetti is a company with which we have common goals and aspirations,” said Carl Sarens, Director of Technical Solutions, Projects and Engineering. “We are looking forward to the new challenges we can face together to better serve the Italian market and not only.”
The primary purpose of the partnership between the three companies is to supply clients with technical solutions to their engineering challenges – something Sarens are globally renowned for, with Fagioli saying the “union” was something he was “thrilled to be part of”.

“Several years after leaving the Fagioli Group, my passion for logistics has now led me to accept this new entrepreneurial challenge alongside Zanetti Solution and the international giant Sarens.”
