The program, set to run from July 31 through to August 2, is set to focus on the story and the legacy of the New Zealand crane industry, providing crane-related business from all across the country with the chance to meet face to face and liaise on key industry issues and developments.

“The 2024 CANZ Conference represents the one time of the year that the crane industry can come together and conduct business in one location,” said CANZ CEO, Sarah Toase. “In tandem with a diverse range of sponsors, we’ve got a great program line up this year.”

Set to be held at the Energy Events Centre in Rotorua, New Zealand, the program features an examination of artificial intelligence in the crane industry, geospatial engineering, a presentation from Tony Alexander, an independent economist, a detailed look into the future of crane training, and an examination of safety with Glen Cooke.

Additionally, the event will feature a regulators panel, a manufacturers panel, and the presentation of the winners of the lift and project of the year awards.

With sponsorship opportunities still available, Liebherr and Cookes have already jumped on board as platinum sponsors, with insurance firm UANZ also committing as a gold-level sponsor.
