The Western Australian Government has launched the ‘Pipeline of Works’, an interactive dashboard showcasing $8.7 billion worth of public works.

The dashboard has been launched by the Cook Government to help WA’s construction industry plan and prepare to bid for Government tenders. Currently, the Pipeline of Works features current and planned non-residential projects, as well as other infrastructure projects that form a key part of the State’s $43.9 billion Asset Investment Program.
“Our Government’s record $43.9 billion Asset Investment Program is setting up our State for the future, and importantly, providing massive opportunities for local construction businesses and workers,” said Deputy Premier, Treasurer, and Minister for Transport and Tourism, Rita Saffioti. “This dashboard will be a key tool in helping these local companies to plan ahead, prepare and bid for potential jobs and make adjustments to their business as required, like increasing their workforce, to deliver these vital projects.”
According to the WA Government, the dashboard will operate in conjunction with the State Infrastructure Plan and State Budget Papers to increase transparency around infrastructure spending, while simultaneously providing a “trusted” source of information with updated forecasts and data to attract new entrants to WA’s building market.
Programs of works, ICT-related projects and METRONET and other Transport-related projects continue to be available from other State Government agency websites and publications.
