Turkish crane rental company Servet Coskun Vinç has acquired a new Liebherr mobile crane to expand its capacities in the industrial and construction sectors.
Liebherr’s 120-tonne, four-axle mobile crane, the LTM1120-4.1, is the most powerful crane of its axle class on the market, with new owner – director of Servet Coskun Vinç – Sedat Coskun highlighting the crane’s efficiency as its main selling point after an arduous search for a new machine.
“We spent a long time looking for a mobile crane with four axles and finally decided on the 120 tonne Liebherr unit since it is not only the most powerful crane in its class, but also has the longest boom,” he said. “Apart from the high quality of their products, we have had very good experiences with Liebherr in Turkey for many years and are extremely satisfied with their level of service.”
The LTM 1120-4.1 possesses a main telescopic boom up to 66 metres, with a lattice jib extension reaching up to 26 metres. Powered by a Liebherr engine, the four-axle crane holds a total ballast of 31 tonnes, a maximum driving speed of 85 kilometres an hour, and a maximum radius of 64 metres. As with all Liebherr machines developed after 2021, the crane can be operated with HVO fuel, offering operators the chance to reduce their carbon output. Additionally, the crane comes with all of Liebherr’s regular features such as VarioBase, ECOdrive, and ECOmode, while its ‘Hillstart Aid’ feature allows for easy starting without rolling backwards on hills.

Underscoring his intention to place the machine into work assembling tower cranes, in steel construction, and operating in refineries for indoor operations, Coskun was effusive in his praise for the mobile crane’s point of differences.
“The enormous lifting capacity on the long boom, the strong rope pull and the small support base of the LTM 1120-4.1 are advantages here,” he said. “In addition, the crane’s compact dimensions are ideal for narrow working areas, and, thanks to the good turning radius, narrow roads are also no problem.”
Servet Coşkun Vinç has been operating as a rental company for industrial machinery for around 40 years and employs 55 people, primarily renting out its equipment for industrial projects. The Istanbul-based company’s extensive rental fleet includes cranes, work platforms and forklifts, with the company’s crane portfolio including a total of 25 cranes of various types.
