Zoomlion has marked a major milestone with the handover of the ZTK120000 – one of the largest knuckle-boom all-terrain crane in the world – at its Chongqing Industrial Park on 25 November.
The ceremony drew a large crowd and highlighted the company’s growing strength in high-end lifting technology.
The crane was officially delivered to Luoyang Changsheng Machinery. A company representative said, “From the initial technical consultations to the customised R&D process, Zoomlion has demonstrated exceptional engineering capability and service commitment.” The company expects the new crane to lift its efficiency in handling super-large structural components and support major infrastructure and industrial projects.
The ZTK120000 runs on a five-axle, triple-drive all-terrain chassis. With full-axle steering and six steering modes, the crane is designed to offer strong mobility and lifting power across challenging sites.
The crane was produced at Zoomlion’s Chongqing Crane Equipment Industrial Park, which can manufacture more than 20,000 straight-boom and knuckle-boom truck cranes each year. The factory uses more than 200 robots and can complete one truck-mounted crane about every 15 minutes. It follows lean, automated, digital and intelligent production methods, including automated sorting, vision-guided assembly, robotic welding and lights-out machining.
The delivery of one of the world’s largest knuckle-boom all-terrain crane highlights Zoomlion’s engineering and manufacturing capability. The company plans to keep working with global customers to meet infrastructure demands and continue advancing smart manufacturing.
