French company Montagrues has added a new Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 to its fleet.
Featuring a maximum lifting capacity of 300 tonnes and a 90-metre telescopic boom, the crane specialises in assembly work at great heights and is set to expand the group’s capacity for large lifting operations.
“We chose this crane because its tonnage and long boom length make it a logical addition to our range of machines for operations at great heights. Moreover, Liebherr has been our exclusive partner for many years,” said Managing Director at Montagrues Arnaud Berteau.
A subsidiary of the Plissonneau Group, the mobile crane rental company added Liebherr’s telescopic mobile crane to its current fleet of 40 Liebherr’s to be deployed in metropolitan France.
Carrying a 12-tonne axle load, the LTM 1300 is a roadable, versatile and quickly assembled crane with six axles and the capacity to carry heavy loads in steep boom positions and excels in operations such as erecting tower cranes and wind turbine maintenance work.
Despite being taken over last year, Montagrues have enjoyed a working relationship with Liebherr for the past 30 years, during which reliability and outstanding customer service have become the keystones of their operations according to Berteau.
“We have always trusted in the reliability of Liebherr products and the company’s excellent customer service,” he said.
Founded in 1973, Montagrues acquired its first Liebherr – an LTM 1200 – in 1992 and has consistently grown its fleet to aid its operations in the greater Paris area.
The most recent LTM 1300-6.3 is the first Liebherr delivered to the French crane rental company since being acquired by Plissonneau Group last year.
