Modulift is hosting a safety-focused photo competition on social media and providing advice and tips for the safe assembly of spreader beams for GLAD2023.
In an effort to platform the importance of lifting safety, the British below-the-hook manufacturer is inviting its customers and followers to partake in the social media campaign that is set to end on midnight July 13, with the winner receiving a “Modulift Goody Bag”.
Global Lifting Awareness Day is a global campaign aimed at raising awareness of the importance of safety in lifting heavy objects run by global association LEEA.
“Safety is at the heart of everything we do at Modulift, from design engineering right through to manufacturing on the production line,” said Sarah Spivey, Managing Director at Modulift. “Our spreader beams are DNV Type Approved giving them the safety stamp of approval required to ensure our customers can lift safely.”
On top of the photo competition, Modulift’s safety advice and tips for assembling lifting equipment will be platformed and distributed through various channels.
Understanding the importance of appropriate assembly and inspection of lifting equipment to ensure safe lifting operations, Modulift’s experts have put together a thorough guide to help customers and followers assemble their lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
“We provide thorough User Instructions with every beam purchased, together with videos on how to assemble our products safely,” said Spivey. “We are excited to be actively participating in Global Lifting Awareness Day.”
