Manitowoc Cranes has appointed a new sales director for Brazil and has charged him with furthering the Manitowoc Way.

Luciano Dias has been selected for the role and aims to bring increased velocity and innovations to Manitowoc’s operations in Brazil.

He will lead both the sales and customer support team for all Manitowoc Product lines in the country and will also be responsible for the company’s training centre in Sao Paulo, which serves technicians across Latin America.

Dias has worked for Manitowoc for 12 years and has 24 years of experience in sales and marketing. He has been tasked with strengthening the company’s strategy in the Brazilian market, strengthening after sales service and support efforts and to continue cultivating relationships with dealers and customers.

Dias will report directly to Vice President South America, Cristian Galaz.
