Manitou Australia, a provider of material handling equipment, has announced its participation in the 2025 Avalon Airshow, taking place from 25-30 March at Avalon Airport, Victoria. The company will be exhibiting at booth D04 and will showcase the Manitou 200ATJe, an all-terrain aerial work platform designed for aircraft maintenance.
Avalon Airshow is one of the world’s top aviation events and a good place to demonstrate the 200ATJe’s capabilities. The machine is designed to meet the requirements of aircraft maintenance which includes:
• Extended reach– The telescopic boom allows technicians to reach difficult areas of an aircraft.
• Safety features – The aerial work platform will get a secondary protection system, heavy-duty Dana axles, a stability management system, and a secondary recovery system.
• Customised for aircraft maintenance – Comes with a proximity detection and cut-off system, basket bumpers, and non-marking tyres to protect aircraft surfaces.
• All-terrain capabilities – Can operate on various surfaces within an airport or maintenance facility.
