The new alliance, labelled a “dynamic partnership” in a press release from Mammoet, will aim to provide turnkey project logistics and heavy lifting services to the region, with the companies joining forces to solidify their operations and market share in the APAC region. According to Tom Rutgrink, Commercial Director of Mammoet Asia Pacific, Tiong Woon represented a “natural choice” for a partnership in Thailand, saying its “experience and local footprint” boded well with Mammoet’s extensive fleet and heavy-lifting expertise.

“The partnership signifies our commitment to innovation and excellence in the heavy lifting and transport industry,” he said. “We look forward to leveraging our collective capabilities to provide integrated project solutions and drive success for our customers in Thailand and beyond.”

For Tiong Woon, a Singapore Exchange Securities listed company, the alliance presents a chance for growth, according to Executive Director and CEO of Tiong Woon Corporation, Ang Guan Hwa.

“We are excited about the opportunities this strategic alliance with Mammoet in Thailand brings to our organization and customers,” he said. “This is yet another chapter in the Group’s growth story in the right direction.”

News of Mammoet’s partnership with the Singapore-based heavy lifting and transport specialist comes after the global powerhouse formed a strategic alliance with Aertssen Machinery Services to expand its offerings in Qatari industry sectors.
