Mammoet’s innovative Move3D software played a key role in securing national recognition for the company in a safety awards showcase.
Move3D, a 3D visualisation tool designed for complex project planning, enhances safety by enabling detailed visualisations, helping in the development of risk mitigation strategies before heavy lifting and transport operations commence.
The tool was pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of Mammoet’s recent Ball Mill replacement project at an alumina refinery in Australia.
Mammoet’s nomination for the Best Work, Health and Safety Commercial Product or Service Innnovation award reflects the company’s proactive approach to safety, the company says.
“We are proud to be recognised as a finalist in the 2024 National Safety Awards of Excellence,” said Ryan Binedell, Safety Manager at Mammoet Australia.
“This nomination is a testament to our team’s commitment to safety, innovation, and operational excellence.”
The National Safety Awards, honouring organisations that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to workplace safety, are a benchmark for excellence in the industry.
They are held by the NSCA Foundation, a not-for-profit, member-based association dedicated to helping organisations protect their most valuable asset: their people.
Since 1927, it has supported the Australian work health and safety profession by providing education, resources, and professional development through events, webinars, industry updates, and networking opportunities.
Winners will be announced at the 31st Annual 2024 National Safety Awards of Excellence, to be held on October 31st at the Sydney Town Hall.
