Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH is growing its footprint in Ehingen-Berg. At the end of June, the company signed a purchase agreement for a new piece of land at the Ehingen-Berg industrial site – in partnership with the mayor of Ehingen.
This new plot covers 54 hectares and is located right next to Liebherr’s existing service and repair centre, which opened in 2022. With this expansion, the company plans to significantly develop the site, turning it into a key location for future operations.
Construction is expected to kick off in September 2025. The first phase includes building a customer centre, a dispatch building, and reclaiming space for logistics. Project teams are already in place and working quickly to keep things moving smoothly.
Initially, around 250,000 square metres – about half of the newly acquired land – will be developed.
