Also called, “The 100,000 Machine” – the brand-new LH 22 M Industry was showcased at the Liebherr founding site in Kirchdorf an der Iller, Germany.

The machine was presented to employees for the first time at the site and the number 100,000 is printed on the machine body in black and white. The number 75 was written on the back to also commemorate the anniversary.

To highlight the occasion, all employees who were present personally signed the LH 22 M Industry.

The LH 22 M Industry’s highlights include a focus on fuel efficiency concurrent to its material handling performance.

The generation 6 machine has a reach of 11m with an operating weight capacity of 21,900-tonnes and is equipped with a sorting grapple – making it ideal for demolition or recycling applications.

The compact design of the machine allows suitable deployment in areas of recycling and has a listed emission stage of Tier 4f.

In 1949, Hans Liebherr invented the world’s first mobile tower crane and 75 years later, Liebherr has developed one of the leading ranges of machines and heavy lift equipment in the world.

In a Liebherr statement, the machine’s versatility was referenced. “The attachment of the machine is available in a variety of versions and is thus always optimally matched to your respective application.”

Liebherr also spoke to its motto relating to the importance of progression: “Further developments are continually being added in all areas in line with the motto Standing still is a step backwards.”

The LH 22 M Industry is currently available in the United States of America and Canada.
