Nominations are closing soon for the upcoming 2020 Women in Industry Awards, which aim to acknowledge outstanding women from a range of industries, including construction.
The Women in Industry Awards, according to the event organisers, recognise and reward the achievements of women working within the mining, engineering, manufacturing, process control industries and road transport industries and aims to raise the profile of women within industry as well as promote and encourage excellence.
Nominations are open in 10 distinct categories. For instance, Business Development Success of the Year Award is open to rising stars in sales and includes those individuals who have developed and/or implemented a strategy or campaign to help grow a business. Proven leaders at marketing, sales and executive levels are suitable for nomination.
Meanwhile, the Mentor of the Year Award recognises successful women who have mentored other women in the pursuit of industry excellence.

- Social Leader of the Year
- Rising Star of the Year
- Industry Advocacy Award
- Safety Advocacy Award
- Excellence in Manufacturing
- Excellence in Engineering
- Excellence in Mining
