One of the global leaders in the lifting and securement industry, Kito Crosby, has made a major manufacturing investment by investing in its flagship Peerless branded products site in Minnesota.

According to a Kito Crosby statement, the multi-year, multi-million-dollar project involves a state-of-the-art system, whereby the advancement adds a unique coating to chain that prevents rust and corrosion infiltrating the product.
The investment is aimed to further enhance product quality and employee safety; new features include increased air handling systems and automated monitoring.
George Kosidowski, President of Peerless said the production line decision had Peerless employees front of mind.
“This line was designed with our customers and team members in mind,” George said. “The investment will enhance our internal processes, which will improve our service levels to customers and scale our operations for increased demand,” he added.
Similar to all Kito Crosby manufacturing sites, the Winona plant in Minnesota is vertically integrated with Peerless chain manufactured locally in the United States, which includes the transition of raw material to the finished product produced onsite.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in July with Kito Crosby leaders, which included Winona team members, local dignitaries and the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) leadership.
Industries such as; food processing, cargo control, hardware and trailer safety all link to continuous plated chain production.
