Tadano AC 5.250L-2 to join new fleet

Spanish crane company Grúas Roxu S.A. stepped up its game by ordering a new Tadano AC 5.250L-2 all-terrain crane during Bauma 2025 in Munich.

The AC 5.250L-2 is designed for power, efficiency, and adaptability. With a 79-metre main boom (expandable up to 109 metres using extensions), it’s built to tackle everything from construction and industrial jobs to wind energy projects and infrastructure work.

Grúas Roxu’s owner, José Manuel Garcia, said, “We chose the AC 5.250L-2 because it offers a very competitive lifting chart, a long main boom, and a transport concept that fits perfectly with how we operate. It’s a powerful, modern machine that will integrate well into our fleet and help us continue delivering excellent results for our clients.”

The crane comes packed with advanced tech:

  • IC‑1 Plus and Surround View systems for smart control and safety
  • Eco Mode for fuel savings
  • Start-Stop Function to cut emissions when idle
  • Strong Support from Tadano

Gustavo Cortina, Tadano’s sales manager in Spain said, “We are very proud that Grúas Roxu has once again chosen Tadano. The AC 5.250L-2 is a great match for their high standards and the wide variety of jobs they handle. We look forward to seeing it in action and continuing our strong relationship in the years ahead.”

This move by Grúas Roxu strengthens its already extensive fleet and supports a wide range of lifting operations across Spain and beyond.
