Wiesbauer GmbH & Co. KG has added another Grove GMK6300L-1 to its fleet, strengthening its position as a full-service heavy-duty provider in Baden-Württemberg.
The new 300t all terrain crane will be based at the company’s Mannheim site, where it will work alongside six other Grove cranes ranging from 60 t to 300t.
This is the fourth GMK6300L-1 in the fleet. It replaces an older unit, which will later be moved to the Bietigheim site. The crane was supplied by KranAgentur Werner.
The GMK6300L-1 features an 80 m main boom that can lift 14t at a 28 m radius when fully extended. It also has a 12/21 m bi-fold swingaway jib that can be adjusted hydraulically from 5 degree to 40 degree. The crane includes an Allison transmission with a hydraulic retarder for better driving performance and efficiency, along with LED work lights and a boom head camera system.
The company has been a loyal Grove customer since purchasing its first Grove crane in 1965. The new GMK6300L-1 will support industrial, construction, and infrastructure work across the region.
