A combination of three, four and five-axle Grove all-terrain cranes join over 100 other Grove cranes, as FOSELEV continue to work in energy, construction and industrial projects.

FOSELEV utilised several of its new three-axle cranes to replace the older two-axle units, therefore, bolstering its lifting capabilities towards the lower end of its fleet.

The crane rental company chose the cranes for their easy transportation, long booms, versatility and compact footprints.

Grove’s three-axle GMK3060L-1 all-terrain crane is a 60-tonne unit, inclusive of a compact, 8.67m long carrier. The GMK3060L-1 includes lifting capacities and up to 7.5-tonne counterweight, with a boom that extends to 48m.

The four-axle, 100-tonne capacity GMK4100L-2 all-terrain crane has a width of only 2.55 m, providing efficiency in tight spaces and it can carry 6.8-tonne of counterweight in its taxi configuration, for an overall vehicle weight under 12 t per axle.

The five-axle, Grove GMK5120L all-terrain crane holds a capacity of 120-tonne and offers main boom reach of 66m, carrying up to 14.6-tonne in counterweight.

The benefits of Manitowoc’s Grove cranes are enjoyable, as is working with the Manitowoc staff, said Eric Stroppiana, Operational Director of the Lifting, Transport, and Handling Division at the FOSELEV Group.

“Grove cranes are one of the foundations of our fleet; we enjoy using them, and we particularly like their variety of long booms and configurations. The cranes can easily put in 1,200 hours a year. The people we work with at Grove are fantastic, and we get excellent customer service. There are over 100 Grove cranes in our fleet, and we expect that number to continue growing,” Eric said.

Based in Aix-en-Provence, FOSELEV Group provides services to many industries, such as; industrial, nuclear, energy and construction sectors.
