Manitowoc has appointed Majan Equipment and Services as the new authorised dealer for Grove cranes in Oman, strengthening its presence in the region and bringing local expertise to key industries.
Majan Equipment and Services is a subsidiary of Muscat Overseas Group, one of Oman’s leading business groups with more than 50 years of experience. The company supplies a wide range of equipment to the construction, industrial and marine sectors. Now, with the addition of Grove’s crane range, it is well-placed to meet growing demand for reliable lifting equipment—particularly in oil and gas, which makes up over 70 per cent of the market.

The company has already received its first Grove TMC550 truck-mounted crane, with three more units expected to arrive soon. These cranes are designed for emerging markets and are known for their robust performance.
As Grove’s authorised dealer, Majan will offer full after-sales support, including operator training, genuine spare parts, and maintenance services. Its factory-trained team will also provide emergency repairs and technical assistance to help customers maximise uptime and extend the working life of their cranes.
This partnership is expected to provide a strong boost to Grove’s presence in Oman, helping local businesses access reliable lifting solutions backed by experienced service and support.
