Manitowoc has revealed that Joern Henselmans has been appointed as Vice President and General Manager for Grove all-terrain cranes.

Coming into effect as of April 12, 2024, Henselmans’ role will see him be directly responsible for operations, purchasing, engineering, new product development, quality, human resources, and safety at the Manitowoc facility in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. Henselmans will be reporting to Les Middleton, Executive Vice President Americas and EU Mobile Cranes at the Manitowoc Company.
“I am looking forward to fulfilling my new role at Manitowoc and could not be more excited to lead an amazing team of people, that is designing and manufacturing best-in class Grove all-terrain cranes and related services to meet our customers’ needs,” said Henselmans.

Henselmans has been with the global crane manufacturer since October 2013. Most recently, Henslemans was Vice President of Operations, Senior Director of Quality and Director of Manufacturing at Manitowoc. Executive VP, Les Middleton, praised the “extensive knowledge” the new VP of Grove possessed, as well as “manufacturing expertise” and “close relationships” with the Manitowoc teams.
