Franna will showcase its AT24 US pick and carry crane at the Utility Expo in Louisville, Kentucky, from 7–9 October 2025.
The global manufacturer will join Terex Utilities at Booth E255, where the crane will be on display for North American customers.
The AT24 US has been tailored for the region’s utility sector, with features designed to boost precision, safety and control in the field. These include automatic counterweight detection, operator-settable working limits, front axle weight monitoring and real-time capacity feedback.
It also comes equipped with overload protection, Franna’s Dynamic Load Moment Indicator, an external emergency stop and an ergonomically designed operator cabin.
The event will also mark the first major outing for Kevin Aabel, Franna’s recently appointed Business Development Manager for North America.
Mr Aabel has previously worked with Manitowoc, Oshkosh and Altec, Inc., and brings experience across truck-mounted, rough terrain, crawler and all-terrain cranes.
“As someone who’s worked with a wide range of lifting equipment across North America, I’m excited to introduce the AT24 US to the utility sector,” he said. “Franna’s pick and carry concept offers a unique combination of mobility, safety, and performance that I believe will resonate strongly with operators and fleet managers alike.”
Franna says the AT24 US has been developed to meet the growing needs of the North American utility industry, where mobility and safe lifting are key.
Attendees to the Utility Expo can meet with Mr Aabel at Booth E255 and learn more about how the AT24 US can support utility operations.
