Five new Liebherr mobile cranes for Dutch logistics company

Dutch company Wagenborg Nedlift has purchased five new Liebherr mobile cranes to replace its current fleet with more sustainable, environmentally sustainable options.

Netherlands-based company Wagenborg Nedlift has continued the expansion of its fleet of Liebherr mobile cranes by ordering another five from the German manufacturers.

After initially investing in a new Liebherr LTM 1150-5.3 that arrived in the company’s yard in early August, the heavy lift, transport, and logistics specialists made the decision to continue its investment programme into Liebherr cranes by purchasing a further five new cranes.

The machines in question are three LTM090 cranes, one LTM1150, and one LTM1230. By ordering a range of new cranes with different classes and capacities, the company is seeking to expand the versatility it can offer to prospective clients whilst simultaneously turning over its fleet.

In line with the company’s long-term, sustainable investment strategy, the machines Wagenborg Nedlift has chosen to replace the obsolete ones currently operating its fleet are all equipped with clean Stage V engines that produce fewer carbon dioxide emissions than its older counterparts. Furthermore, the range of new Liebherr mobile cranes come with the German manufacturer’s patented ECOmode and ECOdrive, resulting in reduced fuel consumption and reduced noise pollution.

The five “new, modern, and more sustainable” cranes – according to the company itself – are set to be delivered in the first quarter of 2024.
