The Raimondi T147 is currently working on the construction of new technical and administrative offices for Ferrari and has been stationed there since October last year. According to Assistedile’s Director General, Luciano Friso, the deployment of the T147 represented a “milestone” for the Italian crane company.
“We have the pleasure of working on the expansion of Ferrari’s headquarters by renting this model to Ediltecno Restauri, contractor of the project,” he said. “Assistedile is expanding our rental fleet with our first Class 110 flat-top, further increasing our scope and ability to best serve the country’s construction sector.”
The Raimondi T147 currently working on the new Ferrari headquarters possesses a maximum lifting capacity of eight tonnes at two fall-configuration and a maximum jib length of 62.5m, at which it can hold 1.49 tonnes of weight in ‘Ultra Lift’ mode. Currently operating at a freestanding height of 42m and a jib length of 45m, the crane is capable of lifting 3.58 tonnes at the end of its jib, proving its use in small-to-medium jobsites, according to the manufacturer. Assistedile has also installed the crane with a 37kW hoisting gear, at which the T147 can lift at a maximum speed of 105m per minute and hold a drum capacity of 620m.
Raimondi’s Class 110 series cranes come with its own ConCore control system, allowing end users to access improved error diagnostics, faster commissioning, and “enhanced” overall safety, according to Raimondi, alongside mechanical and carpentry part modularity and jib element jib interchangeability.
“The versatility of this crane, combined with its excellent performance in terms of lifting capacity,” said Friso, “corresponds well to current markets requirements.”
The crane is expected to remain on site for approximately 10-12 more months, until the project is completed.
Assistedile is Raimondi Cranes’ official agent in Milan, Monza, and Brianza, and currently possesses a fleet size of over 130 cranes, of which 107 come from Raimondi.
Raimondi’s products are distributed across Australia by Clark Cranes in Victoria and Strictly Cranes in New South Wales.
