Sany India has delivered eight 750-tonne crawler cranes to the largest crane rental company in India and Asia Sanghvi Movers Limited (SML).
Sany, a global construction equipment manufacturer, completed the handover of its eight SCC7500A 750-tonne in the first quarter of FY24 at The Ritz Carlton, Pune, with senior executives from both parties present at the proceedings.
Sany’s SCC7500A is a 750-tonne lifting capacity crawler crane designed for all applications. Featuring a maximum boom length of 108 metres and a maximum luffing jib combination of 96 metres, the 750-tonne crawler crane holds a maximum lifting moment of 10,000 tonne-metres powered by its Cummins engine.
SML, the sixth largest crane company in the world according to International Cranes, intend to put the crane to work in various industries, such as wind energy, cement, petrochemicals, refineries, steel plants, and power plants, with the machine currently enjoying deployment in Gujarat on a wind power project.

Headquartered in Pune, SML was incorporated in 1989 and went through an Initial Public Offering in 1994. The Company has a fleet of over 400 heavy-duty telescopic and crawler cranes with capacities ranging from 20 tonnes through to 1000 tonnes across 130+ operational job sites in India.
