Cranes and Lifting magazine has launched a new initiative that will provide every crane hire business the opportunity to showcase the premier cranes in its fleet.
The initiative, called the Cranes and Lifting SHOWCASE 2020, will first appear as a section in the September/October 2020 issue of the magazine, before extending its reach to other Prime Creative Media Titles.
The SHOWCASE will feature various crane categories, including all terrain, rough terrain, hydraulic truck cranes, lattice boom crawler cranes, mini crawler, articulated pick and carry, tower cranes – luffing, tower cranes – hammerhead, and vehicle loading cranes.
Companies that have already applied for a listing include Max Cranes, Oz Cranes and Rigging, and Resolution Rigging Services.
Coverage will take place through digital platforms and magazines, including Australian Mining, Inside Construction, Roads and Infrastructure Australia and Quarry Magazine.
Including eNewsletters, the SHOWCASE will reach up to 75,000 people through the various websites.

It will then be housed on the respective websites as a PDF, with an extensive marketing campaign planned to increase awareness.
Crane Industry Council of Australia (CICA) CEO Brandon Hitch said the Cranes and Lifting SHOWCASE 2020 is a positive initiative for the industry.
“It provides crane hire businesses with an opportunity to feature the major cranes in their fleets,” he said.
“CICA also sees a great value add opportunity with other industry sectors having the ability to download and refer to the SHOWCASE.
“This is timely initiative in 2020 when we have postponed our National Conference where the businesses normally showcase their Lift of the Year Award entries.”
