Discussion topics have been announced for the International Tower Crane (ITC) conference, in Vienna on 26-27 of June.
The conference aims to bring together tower crane and construction professionals to learn about the latest industry developments, such as digital construction technologies.
Topics will include ways to transform tower cranes into an intelligent site tool, through the use of BIM integration techniques and the use of drones to perform inspections.

Other topics for discussion will include fibre ropes and tower cranes, determining the residual value of tower cranes, the changing environment for tower crane rental operations and developments in tower crane design.
Speakers will include representatives from construction contractors such as BAM International, Laing O’Rourke and Strabag. Crane specialists will also be in attendance from Wolffkran, BKL Baukran Logistik, Liebherr, Morrow Equipment, SMIE and JVS Cranes.
The ITC event will begin with a tour of tower crane sites, followed by an informal reception in the conference hotel in the evening.
