CANZ to host landmark crane conference celebrating 50 years

This July, Crane Association of New Zealand (CANZ) will host a significant event in the crane industry—the 2025 Crane Conference, celebrating 50 years of development and achievement in New Zealand. Organised by the Crane Association of New Zealand, this conference will commemorate the rich history and future potential of the industry.

The conference will feature a lineup of impressive speakers, such as motivational icon Cam Calkoen, innovative accountant and entrepreneur Luke Kemeys, and dynamic storyteller Jehan Casinader as the MC. These speakers will provide valuable insights, helping attendees reflect on past successes and future directions.

The event will pay tribute to the pioneers of the crane industry, recognising the foundational work that has led to today’s achievements. The annual Crane Awards will also be presented, celebrating the high standards set by industry members. A Youth Panel has been introduced to engage the next generation, highlighting the importance of fostering future leaders in the crane sector.

In addition to discussions and awards, conference attendees will visit Parliament, strengthening connections with key decision-makers. The celebrations will culminate in New Zealand’s first-ever crane parade, showcasing the power and significance of the industry.

This conference is a unique opportunity to honor the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to a promising future for New Zealand’s crane industry.
