Bulk Expo 2026 names ASBSH as official association partner

The Bulk Handling Technical Conference & Expo partners with the Australian Bulk Storage & Handling Association (ASBSH) as its official association partner for the 2026 event.

As part of the partnership, ASBSH will lead the development of the technical conference program, bringing industry expertise and specialist knowledge to the agenda. The program will feature new research, case studies, and industrial innovations influencing the future of bulk materials handling.

The technical forum is expected to draw engineers, researchers, consultants, and international experts, strengthening Bulk Expo’s role as a key destination for industry learning and professional exchange.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Bulk Expo again to shape the technical program,” ASBSH Director Mark Jones said.
“This collaboration brings fresh research, practical insights, and innovations from industry and academia to Australia’s bulk-handling professionals, showcasing real-world solutions and fostering idea exchange.

“Bulk Expo remains a vital meeting point, and we look forward to delivering a program that drives smarter design, stronger technical knowledge, and better outcomes across the sector.

“Some of the key conference themes include material-handling challenges, storage and handling, conveying, environmental considerations, transportation, modelling and simulation as well as dust monitoring and control.”
Bulk Expo organisers Prime Creative Media also welcomed the partnership.

“Partnering with ASBSH allows Bulk Expo to deliver a conference program that is truly relevant and valuable to the industry,” General Manager – Events at Prime Creative Media Siobhan Rocks said.

“The association’s deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within bulk storage and handling will ensure delegates walk away with actionable insights and strategies to improve operations, efficiency, and safety.”
Abstract submissions for the conference are now open and will close on Friday 6 March 2026. Submissions should include a 200-word summary with title and author.

Bulk Expo 2026 will return to Melbourne on 16–17 September at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, bringing together suppliers, operators, and decision-makers from around the country.

Attendees can expect a full program of exhibitions, networking opportunities, and conference sessions focused on the future of bulk materials handling.
