At Bauma 2025, Liebherr is set to showcase its latest inventory under the theme ‘Hands on the Future’, with plans to unveil over 70 exhibits across the company’s 14,000 square metre display.
A key highlight will be the LG 1800-1.0 lattice boom crane. It merges mobility with the load capability of a lattice boom crane, featuring a 102-metre long boom capable of hoisting 800 tonnes.
Another highlight is the 520 EC-B 20 Fibre top-slewing crane that comes with a fibre design that boosts load capacity and minimises wear. It has a load capacity of up to 20 tonnes.
The LR 1400.1 SX crawler crane will be part of the Liebherr line-up. The machine is designed to handle heavy lifting tasks using counterweight technology.
In the mining sector, the PR 776 crawler dozer, now in its eighth generation, will feature technology that aims to increase efficiency in challenging mining operations.
Liebherr will also introduce its autonomous, battery-electric T 264 mining truck. Developed in collaboration with Fortescue, this truck provides a 3.2-megawatt (MW) battery power module with rapid charging capability, fully charging in under an hour.
In line with decarbonisation efforts, the 350-tonne Liebherr R 9400 E mining excavator will also be at Bauma 2025, showcasing the brand’s electric excavator technology.
The concrete technology segment will see Liebherr unveiling the Mobilmix 4.0 mixing plant, which features modular construction to enable different plant configurations. It reduces power consumption by 25 per cent and provides cement dosing which aims to save up to 8 kilograms of cement per cubic metre of concrete.
Liebherr’s R 998 SME Litronic excavator, developed in France, is expected to be on the floor at Bauma 2025. The excavator comes with specialised configurations ideal for demolition work.
