Voting for the highly anticipated ‘Game of Cranes’ is in full swing, showcasing the skills of 75 elite crane operators from around the world. These operators have submitted remarkable videos demonstrating their prowess with Liebherr mobile cranes, and the global audience now holds the power to vote for their favourites.
So far, Australia is proudly represented by seven outstanding crane operators including Sharon Pearce, Jessica Tuck-Lee, Joey Fisher, David Romanous, Craig Boniface, Papp Gyorgy Attila and Nick Sputore. Each has exhibited exceptional technical expertise, precise crane handling, and a commitment to safety — qualities that set them apart in this fierce competition.
Voting is now open and couldn’t be easier. No email address or personal information is required. Simply click the “Vote” button to support your favourite operator. Fans can cast their vote once daily for each video, with voting available until July 27, 2025.
The road ahead
The top five candidates from each region — North America, South America, Australia, Europe, and Africa/Middle East/Asia — will advance to the preliminary rounds in September 2025. Their fate will be determined through a combination of public votes and evaluations by a Liebherr expert jury. The jury will focus on safe operations, technical mastery, and the quality of the submitted video content.
The journey doesn’t end there. Regional champions will face off in the grand international final in November 2025, held at Liebherr’s headquarters in Ehingen, Germany. Here, the best of the best will compete for the prestigious “Game of Cranes” title.
